OUR GOAL: Bring you, the rider, longer motos on quality dirt, with shorter days.
- North/ South Expansion
We have expanded and restructured into a 6 round North and a 5 round South series. With two dual points events during the year, you now have the ability to size up your competition outside of your region without extensive travel. Early in the year we will be combining North & South at everyone's favorite track in Ogden UT and bringing you back together at the grand opening of the National track at Mountain West MX Park for the final shoot-out in August. By looking at our schedule you will see we are committed to only the best dirt in our region.
- Class Structure
We have restructured to run separate classes on Saturday and Sunday. This will help achieve our goal of longer motos and shorter days. With fewer classes per day, and a few fun races in between, we will be able to add laps to every moto (2 moto format) and still get you on your way home at a reasonable time.
For those racers that devote their entire weekend to racing you still have the ability to compete in multiple classes a day but can now challenge yourself in classes you may not have before. The thing that brings us the most excitement with this new structure is giving the Saturday or Sunday only racer a chance to win a championship. You can now come out for a Saturday afternoon of racing and be eligible for year- end awards while still spending Sunday at home with the family. For those of you who are committed to work on Saturday, you can now spend Sunday with us to win your championship. Bottom line, whether you race Saturday, Sunday or both RMX is the place for you.
- CONTINGENCY PRIZES & CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS
Prizes and awards will be given separately for North & South participants. They will be based on your overall attendance as well as year-end points' total. Our Year End Awards Banquet will be held Sept 18th, 2010 and is combined for North & South. It will be centrally located at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden, UT.
- Contingency Prizes will be given to all members who meet the participation requirements, regardless of your finishing position.
- North: Attend 5 out of 6 rounds
- South: Attend 4 out of 5 rounds
- Championship Awards will be given to the top 5 members in each class regardless of rounds attended.
